About Us

Founded as The Ealing Corporation in 1961, the company has provided optical and opto-mechanical products for Research, OEM and Industrial applications. The company originated near Harvard University and was based in Cambridge, Massachusetts for many years until moving to South Natick, Massachusetts. From the early days the company created a series of teaching catalogs that sought to educate and promote the products of the company.

The Ealing catalog was acquired by Hyland Optical Technologies in November 2013. Hyland Optical Technologies is a privately held company based in Scotts Valley.

Today, The Ealing catalog operates as a brand of Hyland Optical Technologies, which manufacturers, stocks, and ships a wide variety of products from our Scotts Valley facility.

We recently opened a design, manufacturing, stocking and support center in Germany based near Frankfurt to support our European customers. The new operation conducts business as Ealing UG.

We want to make sure you are completely satisfied with our products and work hard to make sure all products are of exceptional quality, performance and reliability. We also encourage your feedback on what is working well and what is not working well, and any new products you would like to have that are not presently available.
